Mazel Tov Zelig and Leah!
On the occasion of their 9th anniversary we decided to take the opportunity to try to thank Reb Zelig and his wife Leah for all their unconditional help and support they give to meroniva and its staff on a daily basis by giving them a small token of appreciation.
We bless them with many many more years of happiness and health together and lots of Chasidishe nachas from their children.

All Staff & Campers at YEKALAND would like to wish one of our dear Head Counselors, Benny, a big Mazal Tov: Benny & Sonia (aka Sony - nee Rodel) Hershkovitch are parents for the first time!
Yes, their long waiting months are finally over. It was well worth the wait. Because joining their Hershcovich team is their newest recruit: Standing 20 inches, 6.13 Pounds and a knack for crying the entire house down with just one day in this world... They proudly present to you... Their uncircumcised (therefore, unnamed) baby boy...
Sonia gave birth to him on Tuesday night, March 18th at 8:02 pm.

On the 7th of adar 2nd 5768 the Meronova family embraced a new Bochur by entering him into the first stage of ''chinuch'' and giving him a grand upshernish celebration.The bochour is nonother than Sholom Tolsich (Shmulik Tolstichs brother).

New Mezuzas
Baruch Hashem thanks to the generosity of the Jewish community of dneperpatovsk and Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky's commitment to the quality of life in meronova we are in the process of affixing new mehudar (57 dollar) Mezuzas in every doorway in the Meronova 9 home. The old Mezuzas will go to people who don't yet have in a continuation of the ''Mezuza in every home'' campaign.

Then Rav Beitman took the scene by surprize, with his captivating way of speech, stunning the crowd with a mind racing Purim Quize..
then Shmuly came to the rescue.
While the guys enjoyed freshly prepered russian "chavka",
..well not everyone really digged the russian 'chavka'.
a guest star then appeared.. many were fooled by his voise and thought avraham fried came, till they turned around and found Mendel Schneorson in full gear.
Shmuly Tevel and Ariel go way back, all the way to Bunk-Rebbe!Yosef elharar we miss you alot.

New av u'ben program!
A new Avos u'banim program is held in meronova every Sunday at 4:30.The program is aimed for connection building between parents and their children, and anash and meronova bochurim,as it sayes the strongest connection you can have with someone is by learning torah.
''It's really nice to see the bochurim really bonding with the parents, its good for our boys to have posotive parentel influence from real chassidim'' sayes Smhuel Tewel.
The program gives time for the parents to learn with their kids and other children individually,everyone gets a chance to learn a sicha and halocho, there is also a special MBP program followed by nash and a raffle then a trip, its fun for all!
